About the Role:

Nuage Consulting is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cloud Engineer to build, deploy, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our client's cloud environments. This role requires hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Deployment & Management: Deploy, configure, and manage cloud resources (compute, storage, networking) on platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager for automated infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash, etc.) to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability.
• Security Implementation: Implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring compliance and data protection within cloud environments.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth cloud operations.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in IaC tools and automation techniques.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking and security principles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer) are a plus.
